I watched your program They Sold Their Soles For Rock And Roll. I must say it proved to me what the Holy Spirit has been telling me for a few years now, that is that most of the music I grew up with isn't what God would want me listening to.

I'm forty six years old and I can still remember when at eight years old the night the Beatles came on the Ed Sullivan Show. That's where it all started for me as far as my taste for rock and roll.I was saved at eleven years old but still lived the life of most young people who grew up in those days.I listened to the music from the late 60's the early 80's and realize now how easy it is to be sucked into it's trap. God's Holy Spirit would warn me of what I was listening to but I would push Him aside and let the music take me places in my mind that made me feel good about myself at least for a little while.

Like most young people I would dream of singing and playing in a popular band and idolize my favorite singers, but like anything else this world has to offer, it never filled that space in my sole that only Jesus can fill.To make a long story short, after watching your program it was like a light came on in my sole and the Holy Spirit said to me, you have known all along that this music the people who are involed with it isn't from God and you need to make a break from it NOW! I must say that I had been planning on breaking away from it for a few years now but just would do it.For the last two years after doing God's will and not my own to the best of my ability with the Holy spirit's help my desire has been to listen solely to christian music.

Your program just gave me that needed extra push to make the break and I am now in the process of destroying all of my collection of rock and roll music.It's a great feeling to know that I am pleasing our Lord by putting Him first in my life above all else. The journey I'm on isn't always easy but I know with out a doubt where it is going to end and I can't imagine just how great God's music will be in Heaven.We haven't even b! egun to know what real music is compared to what God has instore for His children.
